How to protect the flowers and plants from the cold

The cold and frost are great enemies of our flowers, which we must take care of with special affection during the winter months, especially those located outside the house, either on the terrace or in the garden. And it is that protecting the cold plants is, without a doubt, one of our main headaches during the winter months.

Obviously, each variety of flower has a series of characteristics and particularities that allow it to resist low temperatures to a greater or lesser extent. Without going any further, the flowers and plants cultivated in pot are generally more vulnerable to cold than those located in the garden. However, both in one case and in the other, we can carry out some tricks or techniques that, except for some exceptions, are applicable to most plants.
